............. Founded in 1984 by
the Weng Family of Taiwan and the Charumethee family of Thailand,
LONGTEX is the first extruded rubber thread manufacturer established
in Thailand with a vision to transform the ample rubber supply
in Thailand into a natural elastomeric fiber for the global textile
and garment industry.
............. LONGTEX's strong engineering
capability to fabricate and modify the extrusion lines in-house
has helped us to grow from 20 metric tons per month in 1984 into
our 500 metric tond per month capacity today. With our new plant
in Samut Sakhon province of Thailand , we are targeting 800 metric
tons of monthly capacity by mid 2002.
